Story of my life starts now, not all of my life, but the basics.
I have a boyfriend, his name is Blaine (no real names were used in the making of this blog.) It's safe to say that I have some commitment issues, and some intimacy issues, and maybe even some communication issues.
I also happen to be one of those people who have a small flirting problem. I flirt with all boys. And sometimes girls (not in a lesbian way!) I've been told I flirt with dogs too. But that's not part of this.
My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship(LDR.) Things are normally pretty decent between us. I mean maybe decent isn't the right word, but it's the best at this point. We normally see each other about once a month, and it basically goes we see each other and I love him for a week, and then my interest slowly dwindles to nothing, then we see (rinse and repeat.)
About two weeks ago we hit the "nothing" stage. I was sitting in my big green chair, watching the movie "P.S. I Love You." The movie is basically about a widow who gets letters from her husband and begins to live life again. It's terribly sad, and heartwarming.
While I was watching I felt like my boyfriend and me weren't clicking. I decided to break up with him. So I did, and I cried. A lot. He wanted to keep talking after, and remain friends, so we did.
I eventually told just about everyone. Well, I didn't. But it's high school so someone told everyone. Eventually a ton of guys started hitting on me, and asking me places. And this is how my best friend, Kate, and I made up the drool committee. The drool committee is by definition, a large group of boys that like me.
Now, I'll describe by boy. We'll start with Clark.
Clark is a boy who lives in my neighborhood. He is the picture of desperation. Ever since I moved here, he's been all up on me any chance. When he found out about Blaine and I, he jumped at the offer. He has now asked me to movies, and sends me many text messages with winky faces.
Next. Mark. He's a newer member of the drool committee, and to be totally honest I don't know if he's even a member. But sometimes it seems like he could be. Like Clark he lives in my neighborhood. He doesn't flirt, but we talk quite a bit, and sometimes i get that vibe.
Next. George. George is a very strange kind of guy. He acts really awkward about sexual jokes, and sometimes he's telling people about his private life. George asked me to winter formal, which is basically a school dance. He also got me a valentines gift, it was a puppy with a heart in it's mouth. As creepy as it was, the puppy was super cute!
Next. Ray. Ray is like a brother to me, and I always thought he felt the same. But on Valentines day he bought me roses, a singing frog, and chocolate. Sweet. But it's one of those every body asks "are you two going out?" We sit next to each other on the bus every morning, and recently he stopped. Even our bus driver was all "Would you two start sitting together again, it's really throwing me off!"
This may be the last one this one is Chad. Chad is yet another strange boy. Who has yet to do anything obvious, but you know spends a lot of time talking to me. Many people have said he probably has a thing for me.
There's a very high chance there's more, and if i realize I forgot one I'll be sure to add it in a future blog. Now, reading this it may seem very, well, conceited. In all actuality it's not like that at all. Even though Kate seems to think so.
Oh! The big kicker. Blaine and I got back together about a week after breaking up. I haven't told anyone because I enjoy the attention. Having a drool committee isn't all it's cracked up to be. And that starts the story...
